ABOUT WEATHERFORD CRANE

NCCCO Crane Instruction and Practical Examination

Our experience in training comes from a construction background as well as 10 years in the oilfield operating Cranes, Heavy Equipment, & Aerial Lifts. Our training experience comes from being the Global Corporate Training Supervisor for one of the worlds largest Hydraulic Fracturing companies in the world. I was responsible for determining the level of training needed for our employees and how to meet the Industry Standards and Government Regulations that are required for those trainings. I designed and published these trainings in a way that were easy to understand and in a style of training that makes it easy for the students to apply to their jobs while keeping safety as the most important goal. We design and publish all of our own training material and can gladly customize any training to fit your company’s needs.

How Do National Credentials Benefit You?

Weatherford Crane Training Services offers credentials for the National Commission for the Certification of Crane Operators (NCCC). This national organization was established by industry professionals, educational institutions, government, and employers from the industries which can benefit from these training programs.


National, third party training and credentials ensure that:

  • You are receiving up-to-date subject matter and curriculum content.
  • The instructors follow a standardized set of teaching guidelines.

National Commission For The Certification Of Crane Operator (NCCCO)

NCCCO is an organization to develop performance standards for safe crane operation  in all areas of general industry and construction. They provide a thorough, independent assessment of operator knowledge and skills. Their goal is to enhance lifting equipment safety, reduce workplace risk, improve performance records, stimulate training, and give due recognition to the professional skill of crane operation. The NCCCO program was developed by industry for industry. At Weatherford Crane, we have developed and continue to use training courses that either build towards NCCCO certification or complete it. We do so with confidence that we're providing the best outcomes possible.
